Bhutan · Thekchok Woeselcholing Monastery
Thekchok Woeselcholing Monastery was founded by Khenpo Nima Rinpoche in his Bhutanese homeland. Modelled on the Pure Land of Guru Rinpoche, it is a source seat of the lineage upheld by Woeselcholing Center (Hong Kong).
Origins

In the region of Khenpo Nima Rinpoche's homeland, more than a dozen villages once had no monastery at all. Moved by this need, Khenpo Rinpoche made the aspiration to build a monastery in the form of Guru Rinpoche's Pure Land: a place to train the sangha, preserve Guru Rinpoche's sacred sites, and keep the Dzogchen lineage alive for future generations.
A Temple of the Three-Kaya Pure Land

The monastery was designed according to the meaning of the three kayas in Dzogchen. Its three storeys correspond to the nirmanakaya Pure Land, the sambhogakaya Pure Land, and the dharmakaya Pure Land. Rising level by level, the temple symbolizes the path of realization from nirmanakaya through sambhogakaya to dharmakaya.
The Ancestral Seat and the Hong Kong Centre
The lineage upheld by Woeselcholing Center (Hong Kong) comes from the Bhutanese seats presided over by Khenpo Nima Rinpoche. The Dzogchen Longchen Nyingtik and Namchö Sky Dharma transmitted in Hong Kong belong to the same unbroken stream as this ancestral seat, with a clear and traceable source.
